Southern Alberta Brain Injury Society (SABIS) provides non-medical support to adult brain injury survivors and their families. SABIS is dedicated to helping adults with acquired brain injuries obtain community supports and services.

Brain Injury Association of York Region

The Brain Injury Association of York Region strives to provide free resources and advocacy for those affected by acquired brain injury in York Region. Through our support groups, workshops and educational sessions, BIAYR is constantly evolving to help those affected by ABI.

Brain Injury Association of Windsor and Essex County

BIAWE’s mission is to enhance the lives of those affected by an acquired brain injury. This includes support groups and socials for survivors, caregivers, young adults, pediatric caregivers and children. We provide brain injury prevention programs to schools (grades 7 to 12), to health care professionals and the general public. We advocate and navigate for those with an acquired brain injury.

CGB Centre for Traumatic Life Losses

We develop and deliver therapeutic programs and other related counseling, information, group support programs, retreats and health support resources to individuals and/or loved ones of individuals who have experienced traumatic life loss, mental health issues, substance abuse and addiction issues, and/or acquired brain injury. We serve individuals, families, and caregivers.

Campbell River Head Injury Support Society

CRHISS assists individuals with brain injuries, their caregivers and the community better understand the effects of the injury by providing tools and programs to help move forward. Programming such as Tai Chi, fitness classes, art classes, Lifeskills, drumming, Yoga, and anger management are some of what we offer.

LABIS provides free programming and resources for people who have sustained brain injuries and their families and caregivers in our community.The programs are educational, recreational and social.

Kootenay Brain Injury Association

Offering service that enable individuals and families living with the effects of acquired brain injury to enjoy & participate in life in their home & community. All services are cost-free and include: Individual and group support, skills-based workshops, counselling services, family support, advocacy, referral & connection services, prevention and education, volunteer programs.

Brain Injury Association of Peel & Halton (BIAPH)

Brain Injury Association of Peel & Halton (BIAPH), SERVICE AREA: Peel – Cities of Brampton and Mississauga and the town of Caledon. Halton – City of Burlington and the towns of Oakville, Milton and Halton Hills.

ARBI (Association for the Rehabilitation of the Brain Injured)

For over 40 years ARBI has provided oupatient rehabilitation and community integration programming for individuals with an acquired brain injury. Our onsite program provides intensive neuro-rehabilitaion delivered by OT, PT, SLP, RT, social work and psychology. We offer group and one-to-one opportunities for engagement in meaningful recreational pursuits through our community integration program as well as single-discipline intervention through our outreach program. Unique to ARBI, we integrate our valued volunteers into the delivery of our programs. Evident in the approach we take every day for every client is our vision that each client lives their best life possible.
