ARBI (Association for the Rehabilitation of the Brain Injured)

For over 40 years ARBI has provided oupatient rehabilitation and community integration programming for individuals with an acquired brain injury. Our onsite program provides intensive neuro-rehabilitaion delivered by OT, PT, SLP, RT, social work and psychology. We offer group and one-to-one opportunities for engagement in meaningful recreational pursuits through our community integration program as well as single-discipline intervention through our outreach program. Unique to ARBI, we integrate our valued volunteers into the delivery of our programs. Evident in the approach we take every day for every client is our vision that each client lives their best life possible.

Ontario Brain Injury Association (OBIA)

The Ontario Brain Injury Association (OBIA) is a provincial not-for-profit, charitable organization. Our mission is to enhance the lives of Ontarians living with the effects of acquired brain injury (ABI) through education, awareness and support. Through programs such as our toll-free helpline, peer support program, and support groups, we have assisted well over 100,000 people. OBIA is also a leader in Canada for providing training and education to those who support people living with concussions/brain injuries.

Brain Injury Association of Niagara (BIAN)

The Brain Injury Association of Niagara (BIAN) is committed to empowering and maximizing the quality of life for individuals living with the effects of an acquired brain injury and their families and caregivers, through support, social activities, community and peer opportunities, advocacy, and information. We are committed to education, raising awareness, and the prevention of brain injury in our community.

Comox Valley Head Injury Society

CVHIS provides programs and support services to acquired brain injury survivors, their families and caregivers.  We promote the health and well-being of our participants through advocacy, education, skill development, community re-integration, and we work to reduce incidences of brain injury in our community through prevention-based education.  Most programming is free and includes Case Management, Counselling, Food and Healthy Eating supports, Peer Support, Life After Brain Injury workshops, Wellness Group Activities, music and art therapy and a Drop in program.

BrainTrust Canada

BrainTrust Canada is a non-profit dedicated to meeting the unique needs of people affected by acquired brain injury providing evidence-based approaches to rehabilitation and recovery that lead to meaningful outcomes. We provide brain injury prevention and education, specialized neuro-rehabilitation program, and client advocacy.

Brain Injury Canada

Brain Injury Canada is a national charitable organization for the brain injury community in Canada. Our mission is to advance awareness, education, opportunities, and support by advocating at a national level; establishing meaningful connections with stakeholders; and educating and empowering people living with acquired brain injury, families/caregivers, health care workers, researchers, and the general public.

We have a vision for a better quality of life for all people affected by acquired brain injury in Canada. We firmly stand behind our values of accountability; compassion; connection/collaboration; diversity; integrity; and stewardship.

We develop free online resources for individuals with brain injury, caregivers and health care providers, which we host on our living resource website. We also host several events for the brain injury community.
