The Canadian Adaptive Climbing Society (CACS) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to breaking down barriers to participation in rock climbing. We make climbing accessible to individuals living with physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges through the use of adaptive strategies and specialized equipment, including customized harnesses, rope systems, and prosthetics, so that individuals can experience the many benefits of climbing when it might otherwise be out of reach.  We offer therapeutic and recreational programming both indoors and outdoors. Our group therapeutic climbing program is led by occupational therapists and integrates the physical, cognitive, and emotional benefits of climbing with evidence-based therapeutic practices.
